Add / Edit / Delete PM users

Adding New Users To GTP
This function may be performed only by the Super Admin, Admin and PM user roles (hereinafter collectively referred to as "CONTROLLER" for the sake of brevity). Other user roles cannot exercise this function. It is recommended that all new users be added to the system before proceeding to add a new Project.
After logging in as CONTROLLER, the welcome screen displays "USERS" as one of the options on the top. Clicking this option takes you to the "Users Administration" page. This page has the following sections:
- A set of textboxes where information may be filled in either for searching for relevant users, or for adding new users (the list of textboxes is discussed below);

- Two control buttons:

- SEARCH: Any of the textboxes may be populated with search data, and this button pressed, and all users whose details match the data provided are presented in corresponding rows.

- ADD NEW RECORD (as it appears for PM) or ADD NEW USER (as it appears for Super Admin or Admin): Clicking here clears the textboxes, so that a fresh username may be entered into the system. After the new data has been entered, clicking on this button updates the database and the newly added username appears in a new row at the bottom of the table described below.

- A table with columns pertaining to each text box in the first section, and containing full details of every user in the GTP. Each row has two control buttons of its own:
- VIEW / EDIT
- DELETE

The CONTROLLER may alter details about a particular username (perhaps assign them a new user type/role, or activate / deactivate the username, or delete it altogether from the system).
To add a new user, click on the "ADD NEW USER/RECORD" button. This leads to the screen being refreshed, the textboxes being reset in anticipation of fresh entry, and the appearance of two new buttons:

- SAVE
- CANCEL

User-centric details may be entered in the corresponding text boxes:

- User Name: The full user name may be entered here

- User Nickname: A short version of the user name, easily recognizable and unique, may be entered here. Other users will be able to see this nickname throughout the system.

- Email: The email address of the user may be entered here. This information may be collected from the individual beforehand.

- Password: The CONTROLLER may assign an appropriate password to the new user. The username, user nickname and password is passed on to the individual operating the username.

- User Status (Role): A given username may have only one role in the system; multiple roles are not possible.

- User Status: There are two options possible here:
- ACTIVE
- DISABLED

The CONTROLLER may activate a username or deactivate it, depending on the status of the individual in the ongoing project.

In addition, the Admin user role gets to input information in the further two textboxes:
- Custom text for user account: Any special information pertaining to the username may be entered here.

- User base hourly rate: The Admin has the privilege to enter the hourly rate that has been negotiated between GTP and the individual for their effort put in, in this textbox.

After the above details have been entered, click on SAVE to add the username and all details to the database. The table is updated with the new username appearing as a new row at the bottom.
