Generate Accounting Reports:

This function may be performed only by the user roles of Super Admin and Admin (hereinafter collectively referred to as "CONTROLLER" for the sake of brevity). Other user roles cannot exercise this function.

When these user roles log into the system, one of the main options listed on the top of the screen is "Report". Clicking on this option takes to the "Admin Accouting Page" screen, with a section titled - "Records".

The screen has a dropdown box with all projects listed therein. Selecting the desired project displays all the Notes posted by different usernames for the project, in ascending order by time. Each activity is presented as a row in the table that has the following columns:

- User Name, User Nickname, Task Name
- Date/Time
- Notes
- Task Description / Approved Status

Against each such row, the CONTROLLER has the following two buttons available to manage:

- VIEW / EDIT: The admin may view in detail the notes entered by the username.

- DELETE: Based on the situation, the admin may decide to delete the entry altogether from the system.

There are two other, general purpose buttons that the CONTROLLER has at their disposal:

- ADD NEW RECORD: Through this button, the CONTROLLER can enter a new task, assign it to the desired username, and, if required, allot appropriate hours to it. The following fields may be updated:

- User Name: This is a dropdown box containing all usernames recorded in the system.

- Task: An appropriate task number may be allotted to the new entry being made into the system.

- Hours: The number of hours generated by this task by the corresponding username may be entered here.

- Created: The date and time when the task was created may be entered here.

- Notes: A full detail of the task may be entered here.

- Task Description: This is a one-line précis of the task.

- Approved: There are three possibilities - YES, NO, or REQUESTED. The appropriate approval status may be selected here.

There are two buttons: SAVE, which creates the new record and displays it as a new row in the table, and CANCEL, which resets the screen and takes back to the previous screen.

- SEARCH: The records in the project may be searched based on the following criteria:

- User Name: This is a dropdown box with a list of all usernames defined in the system. Select the right username for whom the accounting report needs to be generated.

- Task: The accounting report may be viewed for a specific task too. Select the appropriate task from the dropdown box.

- Hours: If the report is desired for specific hours, the same may be entered here.

- Created: If the report is desired for a task created at a particular point of time, the same may be entered here.

- Task Description: Report may be generated based on task descriptions too. Enter the task description for which the report is required here.

- Approved: There are three possibilities - YES, NO, or REQUESTED. The appropriate approval status may be selected here.

After the appropriate search criteria have been selected, click on the SEARCH button that will generate all records that meet the criteria.
